Yes, temporary positions can help you bridge a gap in full-time employment, gain valuable
work experience and possibly “get your foot in the door” of the company of your dreams.

Does O2 Staffing only staff temporary positions?
O2 Staffing is a full-service employment agency. We staff both temporary and full-time positions.

Does O2 Staffing charge their field employees a fee for finding them temporary or full-time employment?
No. There is never a fee involved with our service.

How do I apply for work with O2 Staffing?
It is necessary to contact a O2 Staffing representative to schedule an appointment for an interview. Employment history, job duties and skills are reviewed to determine an applicant’s job classification(s). O2 Staffing investigates each applicant’s background; reasons for leaving previous employment, salary, work attitude, attendance and job success.

What types of positions does O2 Staffing typically staff for?
We staff a wide variety of positions; however our most common temporary positions are clerical, administrative, technical and scientific, light industrial, production and warehouse.

How much do your positions pay?
Pay rates are determined by job description, employee work history and employee job skill level. Field employee wages are comparable to full-time wages for positions matching the same skills and experience requirements. An O2 Staffing representative will be happy to discuss pay rates at the time of your interview.

After applying for work, how long before I get a job?
Sometimes we can offer you a position immediately, however the time it takes to place you on a position will depend on your skills and experience.

How many hours per week is a temporary required to work?
Assignments vary in length, from 4 hours to 40 hours per week. If a Staffing Specialist offers a position to you, you will be informed then of what hours are required for the position. In some cases, hours may change during an assignment, but it will be up to you to decide if you’d like to continue with that particular assignment.

What size companies do you place people at?
Our clients vary in size, from several employees, to thousands. At the time of your interview, a Staffing Specialist will discuss any preferences you might have in regards to the kinds of companies you’d like to be considered for.

When you work for O2 Staffing, who is your employer?
O2 Staffing is your employer. O2 Staffing will process your paycheck and you will receive your W-2 from O2 Staffing. All questions regarding your paycheck, medical benefits, etc. should be directed to O2 Staffing.

What happens if I don’t like the assignment I’m placed on?
O2 Staffing follows strict quality assurance guidelines and we routinely follow-up with our field employees after the have begun their assignments in order to determine if it is the right match for them. When a field employee has a different preference, a change of assignment can be made to insure everyone’s satisfaction.

Will I ever be able to land a full-time job if I start working for a staffing service?
Many people who work for the upper tier of staffing services find that they obtain full-time employment because of their relationship with the service. In 2003, 32% of O2 Staffing temporary assignments lead to full-time employment. Many companies will look to their temporary workforce to satisfy an internal staffing need before recruiting outside their organization.
